The Brickcom FB-500Ap provides resolutions up to 5 megapixel and full frame rate HDTV video at 30fps. The FB-500Ap supports H.264, Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 in multiple streams to meet different quality needs. The FB-500Ap uses a 1/2.5" image sensor, offering reliable video even in low lux (0.8Lux @ F1.3) applications. With the 5 megapixel sensor, the FB-500Ap provides clear, sharp video and color fidelity.

Smart Design and Intelligent Surveillance Software Features

The FB-500Ap is designed with powerful software features to maximize the camera's capabilities and adapt to variable environments to provide optimal video quality. The Brickcom Intelligent Multi-Profile Sensor Management® supports 5 profiles, allowing users to configure multiple image parameters, such as brightness, contrast, and exposure. This will enable to camera to capture better video surveillance in changing lighting environments. The profiles can be configured to switch automatically according to the user-defined schedule. Up to 3 pre-set profiles (Day, Night, and Sunset) and 2 user-defined profiles are provided for the camera for unprecedented flexibility. The FB-500Ap also supports Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) applications such as object tracking, people counting, and forbidden region alarm alerts.*

Day and Night Function and Edge Recording

The FB-500Ap with day and night functionality is designed for 24 hour surveillance monitoring where sharp, clear detail is essential. The FB-500Ap has a removable IR-cut filter to the camera will automatically adjust the contrast between bright and dark image areas for optimum detail display. With an outdoor housing enclosure, the FB-500Ap is suitable for commercial, indoor/outdoor security applications such as lobby entrances, parking lots, ATMs and loading areas. The DI/DO, RS485 terminal allow users to connect the FB-500Ap to external alarm and sensor devices for added security protection. By integrating with the Brickcom BP-1000 power battery pack, the FB-500Ap supports edge recording. The camera will continue recording and store the data to the micro SD/SDHC card when the network or power connection is interrupted.

Easy and Flexible Installation

The 5M FB-500Ap offers a wide variety of data transmission options to meet different needs. It supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) which allows the cameras to transmit data and receive power through the same cable. The FB-500Ap also can support a USB dongle for 3G/4G (WiMAX/LTE) wireless connectivity. The FB-500Ap can create a secure wireless solution that can be easily installed in locations where Ethernet cabling is too difficult or expensive to install.
