Security Cameras with BLC Backlight Compensation. Bright areas- What to look for.
The BLC or backlight compensation adjusts the image to compensate for areas that are overpowered by brightness due to excessive light. So if a camera is facing the front door of a shop, blc is a feature we look for for that customer. DSP or digital signal processing is a more advanced level of that process that actually alters digitallyt the pixles involved. Thsi way it picks and chooses certain smaller areas instead of the entire picture as BLC adjusts the image as a whole.
