This Ultra Clear, High Resolution camera realizes over 700TV Lines of Resolution and produces a crisp color image by use of a Sony Ex-View HAD CCD II and Effio- E image signal processor. Seventy Patented Dynamic Intensity LEDs allow images to be delivered in total darkness without "Wash Out" from zero to 300' in distance. Designed with the installer in mind, the VTC- IRE70/650 has externally adjustable focus and zoom with a clutch to eliminate over-tightening, a 3-axis wall bracket with heavy duty base holder, secondary video output, feed-thru wiring and On Screen Display for programming. It's IP68 NEMA rating means that this camera will never leak or condensate and can not be permeated by dust or pests.

I upgraded to these cameras because my previous 480 TVL resolution cameras did not provide an image capable of identifying the car and appearance of a thief who recently stole our downspouts, seeking scrap copper. Without good enough resolution, the camera system has little value to me in helping the police to catch a thief.

The 300' IR LED illuminated range is very good, and the external focusing capability allows you to adjust to the sharpest focus at the distance most important to you.
