The Triplett Model 1401 is a 3-1/2 digit (5999 count) true rms compact digital multimeter with a backlit LCD display. It offers a large variety of measurement features including AC/DC Voltage, AC/DC Current, Resistance, dedicated Battery Test (1.5V & 9V), Continuity, Diode Test, Temperature, Frequency and a built-in non-contact Voltage detector. The rubberized boot provides impact, drop resistance and built-in test lead holders.  With an industry standard CAT III design it provides resistance to damage from transient overvoltages in any demanding settings. The Model 1401 is well suited for a variety of commercial and residential applications such as security, home theater, electrical, HVAC installations and more.
