Vandel-Resistant Speaker w/switch. The Bogen Communications VRS1 Vandal-Reistant Speaker (Transformer & Switch) is a weather-resistant speaker used for two-way, hands-free communication. A 3", weather-resistant cone-type speaker and 25V transformer (can be bypassed for 8 Ohm operation) makes up the VRS1. A #11-gauge stainless steel faceplate protects the speaker from the elements and vandalism. The VRS1 features a metal push button switch that allows for communication with a control center and can be wired for momentary or latching operation.
