Arecont Vision's new Compact JPEG series of cameras in 1.3, 2, 3 or 5 megapixel formats, were designed to address cost sensitivities in the JPEG market as well as the size constraints of environmental housings. With on camera motion detection and 64 zone capability, the cameras provide custom programmable resolution, brightness, saturation, gamma, sharpness and tint. Ideal for installations in environmental housings where a lighter, more space-saving design is required, the Compact JPEG cameras function via PoE, eliminating the need for auxiliary power.
