The MX-M25M-Sec is a IP camera module features direct recording to the integrated 4GB microSD card, making the camera fully independent of any external storage media, even for longer periods of time. The camera internally stores high-resolution video, without requiring an external recording device or PC and therefore does not overload the network. Old recordings can be automatically overwritten or deleted after a specified period of time.
The camera features MxActivitySensor, an activity-controlled, software-based image analysis function for detecting movement of people and objects in a monitored area (full image or section). Whether large objects in the foreground or small ones in the background, MxActivitySensor only records video or triggers an alarm if an important event actually occurs. This IP camera is powered via the network cabling using standard PoE (IEEE 802.3af) products (available separately). Adjusting the PoE class via the camera software enables the use of PoE switches that cannot be operated on all ports with PoE class 3 (up to 12.95V).
The camera is resistant against water jets and ingress of dust (IP66-rated). In combination with the supplied VarioFlex wall and ceiling mount, you can use the camera in outdoor applications and installation over flush-mounted sockets so that the cabling remains fully concealed.
