Code Converter, RS422 Interface. The KTD-313-1 Data Converter is a 10-way protocol translator that converts American Dynamics (AD) Manchester, Diamond, Pelco Pand Pelco D protocol to Digiplex RS422 and converts Digiplex RS422 protocol to AD Manchester and Diamond protocol. This enables multiple GE Securit PTZ receivers to be controlled on a single twisted-pair line by AD Manchester, Diamond, and Pelco head-end systems. It also enables one or more GE Security controllers to operate AD Manchester, Diamond and Pelco receivers. When used to convert to Digiplex RS422, the KTD-313-1 also provides preset control of GE Security receivers. When paired with variable-speed controllers, it provides variable speed control of the CyberDome. The KTD-313-1 provides an 8-position DIP switch thatis field programmable.
