The Pelco Archive Utility Server Software License for First DVMS Unit is an independent software application that runs on a designated server over network and allows you to transfer video and audio data from any Integral Digital Sentry recorder to a computer on the network to meet the storage requirements. You can use the hard drive capacity of other computer on the network to extend your existing storage capacity. This enables you to archive audio/video data for more than 1 year as well as to minimize search and retrieval time.
You can configure and administer the automated archiving schemes for multiple DVMS units from a single computer. The archiving utility software offers customizable settings for specific security requirements including flexible scheduling, auto archiving, and off-site disaster recovery features. In addition to archiving video at the full recording rate or reduced rate, you can set the archiving process to run continuously, hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly.
The Archive Utility software can be installed on an Archive Utility server, which can be used as the storage location for the archived video. Use the client workstation to configure archive utility software, which also enables you to run the archive player application.
