The MX-S15M-Sec-D12 is a FlexMount hemispheric network camera features a 5MP hemispheric day sensor module integrated into the camera housing. The flat housing, including integrated long-term flash memory and external connectors (ethernet, MiniUSB, MxBus, audio) can be placed discreetly and securely behind walls and ceilings or stainless steel panels. The 5MP hemispheric sensor module features a 12mm ultra-wide angle fisheye lens, which enables the camera to capture 180° hemispheric images. When ceiling mounted, the image area covers the entire room. However, the captured hemispheric image is convex, particularly near the corners. These convex areas of the images are de-warped by the integrated distortion correction software, thereby providing a view of the scene from the usual perspective. One or more image sections can be corrected for perspective in the hemispheric view, allowing you to monitor and record several different areas of a room at the same time. This PoE camera requires just one cable for data and power, and connects to any expandable ethernet network. The entire system including the cables and sensor modules are weatherproof and can operate in a temperature range of -22 to 140°F (-30 to 60°C). Because the camera never fogs up and does not require any heating, it can be operated all year round with power supplied via a standard PoE network cable. The power consumption is less than 5W.
