Bosch B8512G-B3 Fire Kit Includes B8512G, B926F, D8109, D1640, D122, D161, B430, B440-C, D101F

The B8512G Control Panel and the B8512G Control Panel are the new premier commercial control panels from Bosch. B8512G control panels integrate intrusion, fire, and access control providing one simple user interface for all systems. With the ability to adapt to large and small applications, the B8512G provides up to 99 individually identified points that can be split into 8 areas. The control panel can communicate through its built-in Ethernet port (not applicable to “E" control panels), or through compatible plug-in modules that can send events over the public switched telephone network (PSTN) or over cellular network communications.

The B926F Fire Keypad is a fully supervised SDI2 device for fire applications. Each keypad has user-adjustable backlit keys, a display that shows system messages, and a founder. The sounder emits distinct condition tones to alert you to a fire alarm, a fire trouble, or fire supervisory events as they occur. The keypad includes fire status indicators and fire function keys.

A 1.5 mm (16 AWG) red steel enclosure for control panels. UL Listed for Central Station Fire, Local Fire, and Remote Station Fire (NFPA 72).

The D1640 from Bosch is a transformer.

The D122 Dual Battery Harness protects the installer and the battery when connecting two batteries, in parallel, to compatible control panels. The D122 eliminates the hazards of batteries connected in parallel by utilizing a thermal circuit breaker to govern the circuit. The positive side of the harness is in series with the circuit breaker. It breaks the electrical circuit of the second battery when the thermal rating is exceeded. This prevents the battery circuit from creating a potentially harmful current overload condition.

The D161 Dual Modular Telephone Cord.

The B430 provides communication over the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) by connecting the PSTN to the control panel. The module provides a single telephone jack, and easily installs into the control panel on-board plug-in module connector.

The cellular communicator is built for a wide variety of secure commercial and industrial applications. Flexible end-to-end path supervision, 128-bit to 256-bit AES encryption and anti-substitution features make cellular communicator especially suited for use in high security and fire monitoring applications. Developed for the military, CDMA technology offers long service life with resistance to hacking and jamming. The cellular communicator’s dual technology radio uses high speed 3G EVDO when available or switches to CDMA if required.
